I need help in creating a tabbed menu. Im not sure how to get around it...I have been creating the tabs in fireworks but when I export them to dreamweaver nothing happens. Is there an easier way to create these tabs? And when it comes to content, how will I be able to put that in (flash, text, etc?) There is a sample to get an idea.
Thanks!
Creating a tabbed menu [was:...Nearly 24 hours have gone by without a single answer to your question. One reason is the unhelpful subject line that you chose for your question. I have renamed the thread with a more specific subject line in the hope of attracting responses for others who might be able to give you advice. I also suggest that you read the advice on How to get help quickly in the Useful Links box that appears when you first access the forum or when you click the Overview tab at the top of the page. This is a very busy forum, and you'll find a lot of people willing to help you, but asking questions the right way is the key to success.
Creating a tabbed menu [was:...The best way to create your menus would be design the tab button in Fireworks, slice up the image and build the navbar in Dreamweaver.
Here's a fairly simple way to create a navbar (list menu) using background images.

As for creating your conternt.聽 You need to use a container to hold all your content, whether it's text or flash.
Sounds like you really need to go through some basic tutorials to get you started.聽 The really important thing though is that you should learn basic html and css, otherwise moving forward with Dreamweaver is going to be an uphill battle.
