Grouping Images with Text

Let me preface this question by a little bit about me.

I'm a self-taught graphics artist and I wear a lot of hats where I work.?I'm the editor, designer, artist, technical writer, and photographer where I work.?I do all of the catalogs, advertisements, and manuals for equipment we make.?I've been using InDesign and Photoshop since one day six years ago, my former boss handed me quark express and Photoshop 7 and told me to make a catalog for the company.?Dumb as a rock, I replied, ''uuuuh okay''.

Anyway, I have been using InDesign for around 4 years now.?Upgraded to CS2 about 2 or 3 years ago.

So, I have this problem, which is having to add bits of information to text after images have been added, which means I have to go back in and manually move images around if the text gets too close to the image to look good. When you build a 300 page catalog, this gets a little annoying.?I try my best to have all of the information possible so it doesn't happen, but it still does from time to time.

So my question is:?Is there a way to group the images with the text, so if I have to go back and add or change information, if I bump a line down, the images will bump right along with it??I don't know if that accurately describes what I want to know but it's the closest I can come.

Thank you for any replies.

For this I use anchored text boxes, set up with an object style. Setting up the anchors can be a bit frustrating until you've figured out how anchors work in relation to the text/page but they're worth the effort.

And use the keep options inparagraph styles to keep things together.

Hope it helps!

Thanks.?I'll start to play around with that.?I knew there was a better way, I just couldn't figure it out.
