Is there a way you recommend getting around having a flash video on your page and ICE letting the user edit that part of the page??I need to have the video within the main portion of my DIV layer in which I normally use as the main copy of the page. But with more and more clients wanting vide with flash (which includes the object tag) i can't seem to get around it.
I attached a JPG to help.
Any help I would appreciate. thanks! Marcus
Getting around Flash within editable...Hi Marcus,
I think the attached image of your potential div setup is what you're looking for. You simply want to wrap the editable areas in divs separate from the Flash content. Please let me know if this is works for you.

Corey
Getting around Flash within editable...Hey Corey, thanks for the response.
Are you all planning on making it so that ICE developers won't have to code pages differently if they have flash? So if there is flash, the user?can still edit it? thanks! Marcus
Hello Marcus,
I can't comment on any unannouced features or functionality, but I'm happy to pass your request on to the product team. There currently are a number of elements which are not supported in editable regions. Refer to the Pages and Editing sections of the InContext Editing FAQ for details: http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/InContext_Editing#Known_issues_and_limitati ons
Best regards,
Corey
