Sharing selections of assets with other...

Hi,

I have a little question about adobe bridge, in our studio we use iView media pro, but would like to use a much more upto date software like bridge cs4. But there is one little problem, is there anyway to share collections between users? iView can save a library anywhere (eg on a shared server) for others to look at, great when more than one person is choosing an image, is there this functionality in adobe bridge? Or a technique I could use to make this happen.

Cheers

Use option-command to drag out aliases and share those. They can be shown original in a batch. A total workaround but useful for my needs.

Is there a way to share collections in Bridge?

You can work that way but unfortunatly this is a more long winded way round than using iView so back to drawing board really. If however you could make aliases of your actual collection file, in the left menu, not just the files in the collection (jpegs, tiffs, psd's etc) that would solve our problem. As in if someone wanted to see my image selection from bridge I could put the alias to the collection into an email or somewhere on a shared server and they simple click it and it adds the collection as I have on my copy of bridge.

But thanks for your help, good workaround if you only had bridge to work with.

Thanks

Tim
